Sundays 1:00-2:15pm Community Yoga

Stretch, breathe, strengthen, relax... Drop in for an all level Hatha community class. Pay what you can afford, or offer a gift or barter, or even just a smile! Community Yoga will now be held in the Healing Traditions Studio on the Makanda Boardwalk! Please check FB or our website for updates. NO CLASS ON 5/2

Sundays 3:00-4:30pm 
Women's Yoga: Making Room For Your Womb

This is the perfect class for women who are ready to tune into the cycles of the female body and work with them instead of against them! Each class will include discussion of the different phases of the menstrual cycle and correlating self care strategies, self reflection, and womb-centered movement and meditation. This is a 6 week series and preregistration is required. 

Tuesdays 6:00-7:15 pm
Hatha Yoga with Anne Discepolo

Anne's Hatha Yoga class combines stretching, strengthening, balance, breath work, and deep relaxation. All levels are welcome! This class runs in 8 week sessions, participants must preregister and prepay to attend. Continuing students are offered priority registration. Currently there is a waitlist for this class.

Gentle/ Chair Yoga with Anne Discepolo

The Gentle Chair Yoga class combines stretching, strengthening, balance, breath work, and deep relaxation. This slower paced class is excellent for seniors, those dealing with injuries or health issues or those that prefer a gentle relaxing approach to yoga.

This class runs in 8 week sessions, pre registration is required.

Yoga Teacher Practicum

This course is designed for new teachers who lacked adequate in person feedback on teaching techniques, (due to training online) or teachers that just want to build confidence and gain valuable teaching experience.  The course will be covering topics such as finding your own teaching style, hands on adjustments, self care for instructors, using props, building your student base, finding your niche, and other topics that you request!
Each class you will have an opportunity to practice teaching, receive kind and loving feedback, and experience your classmates various style of teaching. We learn the most from each other!  
This workshop will be limited to six committed instructors, so that there is  adequate time to really personally train each teacher, and address concerns and questions, and build a close community. Wherever you are at in your yoga practice, or teaching journey I will meet you there, and help you step forward.
Your course tuition includes a 30 minute private coaching session with Anne, and an opportunity to teach a full length community class with supervision. 
We will meet for six Saturdays from 12:30- 6:00pm over three months. No refunds will be given for missed sessions. Dates can be flexible if the change works for everyone in the group.
Course tuition is $450. Payment plans available, possible financial aid as well. Please contact Anne for more info.
