Class Schedule:

 

Intro to Yoga Workshop

1:00-3:00pm

In this workshop we are going to breakdown some basic yoga postures, learning their correct alignment and how you can get the most out of your practice. We will also incorporate beginner breath work practices to use with these postures. Meet us on the mat no matter if you have an existing yoga practice or are looking to begin one. The workshop will close with a relaxing meditation. Bring your own mat if you have one, otherwise borrow a studio mat. All props needed will be supplied. Dress comfortably in clothing that allows movement. 

 

Bring a notebook, pencil, and water.

This workshop will be available on two separate dates, please choose the one that is most convenient for you! $10.00 will save your seat, to book online please look for this offering under workshops.

Gentle/Chair Yoga

The Gentle Yoga class combines stretching, strengthening, balance, breath work, and deep relaxation. This slower paced class is excellent for seniors, those dealing with injuries or health issues or those that prefer a gentle relaxing approach to yoga. Chairs may be used.

Class will occur OUTDOORS at Creekside Park Pavillion in Makanda as weather permits. Students will be notified of class cancellation by 8:30 am on the day of class.

This is an 6 week course starting September 20th.

Tuesdays:

6:00-7:15pm

Hatha Yoga 

Our Hatha Yoga class combines stretching, strengthening, balance, breath work, and deep relaxation. All levels are welcome.

 

This is an 8 week course starting on September 28th.

Wednesdays:

10:00-11:15am

Jo Kilmer's Restorative Yoga with Meditation

This Restorative and rejuvenating class is dedicated to finding the place of deep rest within each individual through breath work, slow movement, meditation and restorative poses.

 

This is a 8 week course starting on November 3rd.
