Outdoor Community Yoga
Stretch, breathe, strengthen, relax...
Drop in for an all level Hatha community class. Pay what you can afford, or offer a gift or barter, or even just a smile!
All you need to bring is your own mat and some water.
Find us in the grass at Giant City State Park near Shelter #1, located near the north end of the park! Please check FB or our website for updates. Cancellations will be posted by noon.

Mondays:

Mudita's Integral Yoga
This 90 minute Integral Yoga Hatha level 1 class approaches each session as a complete yoga practice. Beginning with the Asanas (postures), we work with the physical body by gently moving the spine in all directions; toning the muscles, organs, and nervous system while offering time to rest in between the poses. Then we move into Yoga Nidra, a guided deep relaxation, that gives the body an opportunity to totally let go of any tension and begin to bring the awareness within. Pranayama, the breathing practices, bring vitality to and purify the body while also allowing us to work deeper with the subtle energetic body. This helps calm and prepare the mind for a brief 1-2 minutes of meditation to end each class; a chance to experience the profound peace within.

Tuesdays:

Hatha Yoga
Our Hatha Yoga class combines stretching, strengthening, balance, breath work, and deep relaxation. All levels are welcome.
This is an 8 session course starting on May 4th.
Wednesdays:
6:00-7:15pm
Jo Kilmer's Restorative Yoga with Meditation
This Restorative and rejuvenating class is dedicated to finding the place of deep rest within each individual through breath work, slow movement, meditation and restorative poses.
This is a 7 session course starting on May 5th.
Thursdays:
10:00-11:15am
Intermediate Yoga
Our Intermediate Level Class includes stretching, strengthening, balance, and breath-work. We will be working into more advanced postures as well. Class ends with deep relaxation.
This is an 8 week series and begins on May 6th.
Fridays:
10:00-11:00am
Gentle/Chair Yoga
The Gentle Yoga class combines stretching, strengthening, balance, breath work, and deep relaxation. This slower paced class is excellent for seniors, those dealing with injuries or health issues or those that prefer a gentle relaxing approach to yoga. Chairs may be used.
Class will occur OUTDOORS as weather permits. Students will be notified of class cancellation by 8:30 am on the day of class.
