Fountain Bluff Mini Pilgrimage

Service Description

Pilgrimage is simply a journey to a sacred place, for healing and transformation. It often involves giving offerings to "feed" the spirits of that place, sometimes rituals, prayers and ceremonies can be performed to better connect to the spirits of a place and show love and respect for sacred sites. We will visit the stunning lower petroglyph sites on the bluff, where we can give offerings, meditate, rattle/ drum, do posture journeys, and open our hearts to receive understanding, wisdom and healing. Fountain Bluff was one of the most important "power sites" for the ancient and highly advanced Mississippian culture. It is a place of beauty, power and portals. We will be discussing the fascinating spiritual and mythological relevance of the imagery from a shamanic perspective. I have chosen to offer this on a weekday so we can we most likely work without being disturbed by others. You have my permission to take the day off of work :) We will meet at 9:00am at the boardwalk and ride share to the site.
